The Love Gauge Railway is the story of a clockwork railway of the mind that arrives as a childhood gift, with a solitary train to nowhere, then grows into an elaborate transport system for the owner’s hopes, fears, desires, dreams and their long suffering passengers.  It is thus the story of a life - of its teething problems, joys and disappointments as viewed through a clockwork train set, from its simple beginnings to its sad but inevitable decline.
